Cowdude's Reviews

A Ton of Love by Editors

This song is SO retro it sounds new and fresh. In it, you can hear INXS, the Cult, Simple Minds and many other of the great bands from the '80s. An outstanding offering that should get this group noticed.

Killer by Baby K featuring Tiziano Ferro

Even though I can only understand a fraction of what they are saying, I can't get enough of this song. It's unlike anything else out there. Should be a hit world wide.

Dear Darlin' by Olly Murs

When you mix great lyrics with a heart-felt vocal performance you end up with a masterpiece. That's what we have here. In Olly Murs' vocals you can hear the pain of this breakup.

Royals by Lorde

This 16 year old New Zealand artist has found a breakout hit to explode on the scene. The haunting arrangement lends itself to enhance her vocals. An extraordinary debut.

Sweater Weather by The Neighbourhood

Catchy offering by The Neighbourhood is finally gaining momentum. Well-sung vocals and a catchy hook will leave you with an ear worm you'll be happy to have. So much so, you'll buy the song.

Wake Up by Aaradhna

Here's another throw back to the torch song singers of the early 20th century, but arranged in a way that is modern and today. This performance is a masterpiece that is uncomparable to anything out there today. Well done.
